1. What This Website Is

This private reference site operates independently of government. It does not store official criminal records, retrieve government files, perform official checks, or submit documents for a user.

Its purpose is to identify record custodians such as the Crawford County Sheriff, the 42nd Judicial Circuit Clerk, the Missouri State Highway Patrol Central Repository, and the Missouri Sex Offender Registry. Some pages also connect visitors with outside research tools.

2. Rules for Using This Site

Use is conditioned on an agreement not to:

• Use automated scrapers, bots, or similar collection tools
• Threaten, stalk, intimidate, or harass anyone with information found here
• Attempt unauthorized entry into any part of the system
• Use site content for employment, housing, lending, or insurance decisions
• Interfere with site speed, access, or another visitor's use
• Violate a federal, Missouri, or local law

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

No one may use information from this site or a linked tool to stalk, threaten, intimidate, discriminate against, or harass a person. Such conduct may also violate criminal law. This restriction is especially important for Missouri Sex Offender Registry data. MSHP warns that using registry information to commit a crime or harass a registrant or the registrant's family is illegal. Registry access supports public safety awareness, not vigilante action or unlawful discrimination.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and do not create credit, background, or consumer reports. Our advertising partners do not turn this site into an authorized screening service. Information here or through a linked tool must not be used to:

• Set insurance premiums or assess creditworthiness
• Make a hiring or firing decision
• Evaluate a rental or housing application
• Decide eligibility for a permit, license, or government benefit
• Carry out any other FCRA-regulated purpose

A lawful regulated check must be obtained through an authorized FCRA-compliant provider or the appropriate official process, not through this site.

5. No Legal Advice

Site content is general information, not legal advice. It cannot determine how a Crawford County charge, conviction, warrant, or Missouri expungement law applies to a specific person. Consult a licensed Missouri attorney for that advice.

6. No Warranties

All site content is provided "as is." There is no guarantee that:

• An outside search result is complete or accurate
• Every page is free from bugs, errors, or security weaknesses
• The service will remain continuously available
• Information is complete, accurate, or current at a particular time

Public records can change when charges are filed, amended, dismissed, closed, or expunged. Gaps and delays are possible. Nothing published here is an official statement of the Crawford County Sheriff, a Missouri court, or another government agency.

Text, code, logos, and graphics belong to Crawford County Criminal History or its content partners. They may not be copied, changed, distributed, or used to create derivative work without prior written permission.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for damages arising from use of this website, its information, or any linked service.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, demands, or proceedings caused by your site use or a breach of these terms, including related legal costs and fees.

11. Governing Law

Missouri law governs these terms. Any dispute tied to use of the site must be brought in a court located in Missouri. The Missouri Sunshine Law, Chapter 610, and RSMo §610.100 govern access to qualifying government records; they do not make this private site a government custodian.

12. Changes to These Terms

These terms may be revised at any time. A revision takes effect when the updated text is posted here.

13. Cutting Off Access

We may restrict or end access at any time, for any reason, without advance notice.

14. Severability

If one provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms continue in effect. The affected provision will be modified only as far as necessary to make it enforceable.
